Bees and the Sustainable Development Goals
Bees and the Sustainable Development Goals

On this day of Social Justice, we recognize the inequalities that disproportionately impact small and medium enterprises in the global South. To promote justice for these enterprises, it is key to support universal labor standards, advocate for adequate availability of digital infrastructure, and encourage sustainable development. At ViviendasLeón, we foster this development through supporting Colectivo de Abejas (COABE), a women’s honey bee cooperative that provides opportunities for sustainable development in the Sutiaba Indigenous region of Nicaragua.
