Updates: Impact

Cristina has been in our program for six years. In that time she has become a successful organic farmer and a successful businesswoman, selling her produce to neighbors and families in her community.

Daisy has worked hard to overcome numerous obstacles and become an independent woman in her family and community. Today she earns a living wage as a farmer and small businesswoman, and supports her family with her earnings and food that she grows on her small farm.

"In 2015 a series of events impacted my life profoundly. It began when my husband abandoned us leaving me responsible for our three children. This left me puzzled, not knowing what to do or which way to go. I was very lonely, and had lost the motivation to continue living."
