Program Fees for Open Enrollment sessions:
- One Week: Program Fee is $1,000 + Air Fare
- Two Weeks: Program Fee is $1,700 + Air Fare
- Three Weeks: Program Fee is $2,400 + Air Fare
- Four Weeks: Program Fee is $2,900 + Air Fare
We are forming groups of High School students now for the sessions above. We encourage High School teachers to contact us for the Spring Open Enrollment sessions currently available, and individual High School students for the Summer Open Enrollment sessions.
The program fee covers in-country transportation, lodging and two meals a day with host families, program administration, fees, cost of construction and translation. The fee does not include round-trip transportation to Nicaragua.
Airfare is typically $700.00 although group travel can be less. ViviendasLeón works with applicants to find air travel for groups and individuals. Participants will have expenses in Nicaragua that will include: a $5 entrance fee (paid in cash at the airport in Managua), lunches, snacks and entertainment. We recommend that participants bring $100 per week stay in personal money.
