The second phase of the Goyena Community Center has begun on schedule with the construction of foundations by groups working with the community from Saint Vincent de Paul School in San Francisco, San Francisco Friends School and a group of families during Spring Break from Marin Country Day School and Katherine Del Mar Burkes School in San Francisco. Phase 2 will include a large covered outdoor area for use as a performance space and emergency shelter, a clinic, offices and an equipment room for a grain mill.
